Love it ... you do get what you pay for!
I have lots of free apps and all I can say is you get what you pay for! I was a little reluctant to pay $19.99 for an app when I was used to 99 cents or $4.99 tops but not only did I pay $19.99 for a one year subscription to iCardio but I also spent over $100 to purchase the additional hardware that is required to turn my iPhone into a heart rate monitor. In order to make this work you need an accessory, Digifit Connect, that is a receiver like the Nike+ one that plugs into your iPod. The receiver talks to ANT+ sensors so I had to buy a Garmin heart rate monitor too. So needless to say, this was not cheap. All that said I am thrilled! I now have an awesome heart rate monitor application on my iPhone that calculates caloric burn based on my heart rate intensity not by pulling a number out of the air. For about the same price as those heart monitors you wear on your wrist I have one on my iPhone and with the tap of a single button I can upload my data to the internet. As they say, you do indeed get what you pay for!
